AIIMS Server Down For Eight Consecutive Day, Two System Analysts Suspended

“The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has also joined the investigation. The India Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-IN), the Delhi Police, the Intelligence Bureau, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and representatives of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) have come to investigate the incident,” sources in ANI.
Internet services following recommendations from investigative agencies will remain closed at AIIMS Delhi.
The laboratory information system (LIS) database and other dependent sites have been restored.
Earlier AIIMS also issued a new set of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) stating that the admission, discharge and transfer of patients will be done manually in the hospital until the E-Hospital is down.
“Latest SOPs to be followed in manual mode till E-Hospital is down. Admission, discharge and transfer should be done manually at AIIMS, New Delhi. Indent should be done manually,” the hospital said.
It also said that death or birth certificates should be done manually in the forms as directed by the working committee.
“Only urgent samples and filled forms will be sent. Only urgent investigations should be sent with forms as per the directive of the working committee,” it added.
