Callisto Protocol PC System Requirements Announced
Callisto Protocol launches next Friday December 2, and before that, its Steam page has listed the PC system requirements for the same. While certainly not as demanding as the latest Gotham Knights, the specs required depend on the average rig, asking for an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060, to run the game at its lowest settings. There is also a slight overlap with the listing, as the requirements seem to be very close to each other. From the minimum to the recommended minimum you see only a small jump from the GTX 1070 card of the same generation, despite requiring an additional 8GB of RAM for optimal performance. Callisto Protocol launches on all major platforms – PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X.
That means, according to Steam Platform ReviewNvidia’s GTX 1060 is the most popular graphics card with a massive 7.39 percent. While developer Striking Distance Studios doesn’t specify whether it’s asking for a 3GB or 6GB version, the inclusion of an AMD Radeon RX 580 suggests the latter – as it’s only available in an 8GB version.
In addition, the Callisto Protocol will use Denuvo’s anti-bullying method, known to disable the performance of the game on PC. WB Games Montréal was one of the few major developers to remove DRM to combat Gotham Knights’ poor performance issues, just days after launch. This also has the negative effect of pirated copies being easily made.

Callisto Protocol Season Pass
Callisto Protocol’s steam page has also been updated to list the season pass content, which will be included with the Deluxe Edition. The price of Rs. 2,999, adds four pieces of content to the base game, including the Outer Way Skin Collection, story DLC, the Riot Bundle that puts you in a wave-based mode, and a permadeath mode for those looking for a soul-crushing experience. The last two bundles also detail 25 new animations – 13 for protagonist Jacob Lee, and 12 for enemies – meaning they’re locked behind a paywall.
In response to this conversation, the founder and CEO of Striking Distance Studios Glen A. Schofield took to Twitter to confirm that the team is “holding nothing back in the main game of the season pass.” It turns out that animation is a completely new content and the developers haven’t even started work on it. “Fans asked for LOTS of deaths, so we’re making it a priority for next year,” the twitter read.
To be clear: We’re not holding back on the important postseason game. We have not started working on this content yet. All are new things to work on in the new year. Fans have asked for MORE DEATHS, so we’re making it a priority for next year.

From the creators of Dead Space, Callisto Protocol is a third-person space survival horror game that takes you on a deadly journey through a space sanitation system. Landing on Jupiter’s dead moon Callisto in 2320, players take control of the prisoner Jacob and navigate the terrifying tunnels, as parasitic aliens begin to incarcerate. In addition to guns, players are equipped with various melee weapons and telekinesis, which allows you to grab enemies from a distance, and insert them into sharp blades, into large rotating blades, and between heavy doors. Like Dead Space, Callisto Protocol relies heavily on cutscenes, allowing you to rip off limbs, raising the game’s ESRB rating to Mature 17+.
Callisto Protocol launches on December 2, across PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X.
