Jeep Grand Cherokee with 2L turbocharged engine and 19-speaker audio system launched in India

Jeep India has launched the latest Indian Grand Cherokee with a 2.0 liter turbocharged petrol engine. This engine has a power of 270 bhp and a torque of 400 Nm. This includes an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox equipped with a Selec-Terrain system with Auto, Sport, Snow, Mud and Sand transmission modes. The SUV gets dual tone interiors with leather upholstery. The most prominent inside is a 10.25-inch digital driver display, a 10-inch head-up display, a 10.1-inch center infotainment touchscreen system and a 10.25-inch secondary display.

Jeep Grand Cherokee price in India starts from Rs.77.5 Lakh. The SUV can be pre-booked online and offline for Rs 50,000. The production of the new Jeep Grand Cherokee will take place at Ranjangaon in Maharashtra and deliveries are scheduled to begin by the end of this month (November 2022).

The SUV features a panoramic sunroof, power tailgate, wireless charging, power seats, 360-degree camera, 2 entertainment screens for rear passengers, 4G connectivity, 19-speaker Alpine Audio sound system , etc. The SUV also gets 33 connected features such as vehicle monitoring, smartwatch extension, Alexa voice assistant, remote vehicle management and 24-hour surveillance.
