OnePlus Buds Pro 2 Will Launch in Q1 2023: Report

The OnePlus Buds Pro 2, said to be the successor to the OnePlus Buds Pro, will reportedly be launched by the Chinese smartphone maker in the first quarter of 2023. The rumored launch comes a year after the company released its first wireless audio solution in the OnePlus Buds. .Pro. Recent leaks have also appeared to suggest the specifications of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 which are rumored to be equipped with dual drivers, support for active noise cancellation, and 38 hours of battery support on a single charge.

According to a reports By MySmartPrice citing tipster Mukul Sharma, the serial production of OnePlus Buds Pro 2 has started in several regions of Asia and Europe. The report also claims that TWS earphones from OnePlus will make their debut alongside the OnePlus 11, which is thought to be launched in Q1 2023.

TWS earphones have been around for a while tip to include improvements according to drivers. They are said to feature dual 11mm and 6mm drivers, instead of the single 11mm driver seen on the first-generation OnePlus Buds Pro. The second generation TWS is expected to be equipped with three microphones in each earphone.

The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is expected to offer LHDC 4.0 codec support while also supporting surround sound, according to the report. They may also have 45dB of active noise cancellation (ANC). Other features provided include adaptive ANC, which will allow automatic determination of the level of noise cancellation required by detecting the user’s surroundings.

The upcoming OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is said to offer 9 hours of battery life and 38 hours with a charging case while noise cancellation is turned off. Meanwhile, with the noise canceling feature enabled, users can get up to 6 hours of playback without the case and 22 hours with the case, according to the report. Charging the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 earbuds for 10 minutes will reportedly deliver 3 hours of playtime and up to 10 hours of battery life in that case. The second-generation TWS earbuds from OnePlus are expected to feature wireless charging, just like before.
