OnePlus Nord 5G, Nord CE Get New OxygenOS Update With Jio 5G Support
OnePlus Nord 5G and OnePlus Nord CE have started receiving the new OxygenOS updates in India. The latest update enables 5G access for Reliance Jio users in the country. Alongside Jio 5G support, the new over-the-air (OTA) firmware update brings a host of stability improvements alongside the October 2022 Android security patch for OnePlus’ flagship phones. The OnePlus Nord 5G is getting the OxygenOS F.16 update, while the OnePlus Nord CE is getting the OxygenOS 12 C.08 update. As usual, the update will be rolled out to OnePlus users in phases.

As mentioned, the update allows OnePlus Nord 5G and OnePlus Nord CE users to access Jio’s 5G network in India and install the October 2022 Android security patch. Both smartphones will receive the same improvements with the new update .
New OxygenOS (F.16) update for OnePlus Nord 5G is arriving IN AC2001_11.F.16 in India. Meanwhile, OnePlus Nord CE users get OxygenOS 12 (C.08) ON EB2101_11.C.08. OnePlus has not yet released this unit build in other regions.
The changelogs also include fixes to improve fluidity and system stability for the OnePlus Nord series of phones.
As always, OnePlus Nord 5G and OnePlus Nord CE will receive the latest update in stages. In the first phase, a limited number of users will be receiving updates. If the new firmware is free of bugs, the wider release will begin in the coming days. The company did not specify the size of the new updates.
