OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G Leaked Render Shows New Product Design: Report
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G is expected to be announced soon and a new leaked render now suggests its design. OnePlus usually makes small changes in the design of its smartphones and over the years it tends to cool down its general design language which gives its smartphones a unique OnePlus look and feel. However, things changed drastically with this year’s OnePlus 10R 5G, which took a completely different approach to the design and implementation of OnePlus’ premium device. And now, it seems that the unannounced OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G could be the next smartphone to go this route.
According to some detailed versions by 91 Cell phones in collaboration with the tipster Steve HemmerstofferThe OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G seems to have a completely new design approach compared to previous models. The OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G is supposed to be the successor to the currently available OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G which was launched in February this year.
The design renders suggest that OnePlus ditched the rounded look of the CE series and went with a chiselled look with straight lines, flat sides and sharp corners. While the rear camera setup looks familiar, the two round square cameras appear to be mounted directly on the rear panel instead of being placed in a prominent camera module.
The rear panel has a glossy finish with the OnePlus logo reminiscent of the older OnePlus X smartphone, which had a smaller design like a single rear camera that sat at the top of the rear panel. There is no ‘Alert Slider’ as in the previous model, but there are flat buttons for power and volume on both sides, similar to the one found on the OnePlus 10R 5G.
In terms of specifications, a previous report points to a smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch full HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The phone is also expected to be available in 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variants.
The rear camera setup is said to include two 2-megapixel sensors apart from a 108-megapixel primary sensor. The selfie camera is said to have a 16MP sensor. Some previously leaked details indicate a 5,000mAh battery with 67W charging support. The above information has not been officially announced by OnePlus, so we advise our readers to take it with a grain of salt.
