PlayStation Plus December 2022 Games Reportedly Leaked
PlayStation Plus’ three monthly free games may have leaked early. Reliable developer Dealabs, which regularly drops details on the monthly subscription service’s additions, says that this month’s featured titles will be Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Biomutant, and Divine Knockout (DKO). The games will reportedly be available starting next week, December 6, for all PS Plus Essential, Extra, and Deluxe/Premium editions. The tipster says that the titles will be available on both PS4 and PS5, and that they will be available to claim until January 3, 2023.
If proven correct, of these three options, the Mass Effect Legendary Edition is arguably the biggest steal here – packing all of BioWare’s critically-acclaimed sci-fi trilogy, acclaimed for its branching narrative. The caption hints at visual enhancements designed for the new generation and more than 40 DLCs across all three games, including promotional weapons, armor, and packs. With a free price tag, Biomutant is another decent option, allowing you to unleash hell with a mix of combat and gunplay in a post-apocalyptic world. Divine Knockout is a new fighting game, launching on the aforementioned date of December 6, across PC and PlayStation.
DKO will be a successful launch title on PS Plus, just like Stray would be, except it was limited to certain PS Plus titles. Of course, Sony still has no plans to offer new first-party titles – such as Horizon Forbidden West or God of War Ragnarök – in a monthly subscription service, unlike the Xbox model.
For Sony financial reports from earlier this month showed that PS Plus has lost nearly 2 million subscribers, months after its June relaunch. The number decreased from 47.3 million to 45.4 million in the previous quarter. The report also suggested that PlayStation Network’s (PSN) active users also fell during this period to 102 million – a decrease of 1.4 million from last year.
Currently, players who subscribe to PS Plus’ Essential, Extra, and Deluxe/Premium plans can claim the Japanese Soulslike sequel Nioh 2, the entire Lego Harry Potter collection, and the atmospheric physics game Heavenly Bodies , until December 5th. the last two, premium editions gained access to additional titles in November, including The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Special Edition, the entire Kingdom Hearts saga, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, and much more.
In India, PlayStation Plus subscriptions start at Rs. 499 per month for Essential, Rs. 749 per month more, and Rs. 849 per month for Deluxe.
