SHIB Creators to Join WEF Programs to Shape Global Metaverse Policy
The World Economic Forum (WEF) plans to draft policies on the metaverse that will apply at the global level. To achieve this, WEF reached out to Shiba Inu breeders. The volunteer project leader and Shiba Inu developer, who goes by the pseudonym ‘Shytoshi Kusama’, announced the development and survey on Twitter. The Shiba Inu cryptocurrency was created by an anonymous developer called Ryoshi in August 2020 and as of Wednesday, November 23, has a market cap of $5 billion (approximately Rs. 40,430 crore).
In a Twitter poll, Kusama asked the crypto community to vote if the Shiba Inu should accept the WEF’s offer.
In the last few hours, almost 20,000 voters have voted and a high of 62 percent of participants agreed that the Shiba Inu should meet the WEF.
#ShibArmy I need a quick vote: We have been kindly invited to work with the WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM as it pertains to their global MV policy. I would like to know what you all think because it is not our decision, but yours.

The fields of crypto and blockchain often come to the discussion table at several WEF events.
The offer to join the crypto platform however, is the first such offer from a Swiss-based international non-governmental organization and lobbyist.
Last year, the Shiba Inu failed to maintain an impressive growth graph.
At the time of writing, SHIB token is trading at $0.0000090 (approx. Rs. 0.000737).
The developers of the SHIB token, however, have been growing the meme coin ecosystem.
The creators of Shiba Inu have been working on a metaverse project called ‘SHIB: The Metaverse’, which is done in Shibarium, a layer-2 solution for SHIB.
Back on January 18, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called cryptocurrencies a global challenge in his World Economic Forum speech. “I am sure there will be good discussions on this at the Davos talks,” the Prime Minister said at the time.
