The series is in second place when it comes to worldwide releases, behind the South Korean hit Squid Game, which accumulated 1.650 billion hours during the same period.

Reports from last month also revealed that the Duffer Brothers have found their writer for the Death Note live-action series in Halia Abdel-Meguid. Under their new production banner Upside Down Pictures, the two directors have confirmed an adaptation of the critically acclaimed manga/anime in July, as well as a project based on Stephen King’s The Talisman.
