Vivo Y02 Tipped to Launch in India with Single RAM, Storage Model: Report
Vivo Y02 was launched in Indonesia on November 29. Just two days after the launch of the budget smartphone, it is now making its way to India soon. The handset, launched in the entry-level segment in Indonesia by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, features a 6.51-inch HD+ FullView display and is powered by an undisclosed octa-core chipset, believed to be the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC. If the tip is to be believed, the smartphone is expected next week. However, the company has not provided any official announcement as of now.
Vivo Y02 price, availability in India (expected)
Vivo Y02, which was launched in Indonesia on Tuesday, is now offered by Paras Guglani with Mysmartprice is coming to India as an offline focused smartphone. The smartphone from Vivo is tipped to arrive in India as a single 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage option.
The entry-level smartphone is said to be launched in the country in Cosmic Gray and Orchid Blue color options. To recall, the smartphone was launched in Indonesia in these two color variants.
A tipster earlier revealed that the Vivo Y02 could arrive in India for Rs. 8,449, which may be accompanied by a cashback contribution of Rs. 1,000.
Vivo Y02 specifications, features (expected)
The Vivo Y02 smartphone is expected to be launched in India with the same specifications and features as the version of the handset launched in Indonesia. This means that the smartphone under consideration could have a 6.51-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) FullView display with Eye Protection feature. Under the hood, the Tit can pack a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC. Vivo Y02 launched in Indonesia runs Android 12 Go Edition with Funtouch OS 12 layer on top.
The smartphone may feature a flat back frame design with a plastic frame while measuring 163.99×75.63×8.49mm and weighing 186 grams, similar to the variant in Indonesia. Other expected similar features include a waterdrop notch display with 20:9 aspect ratio sporting a slightly thicker chin, 5000mAh battery, 10W fast charging support via USB Type-C port, microSD card slot that supports expansion up to 1TB, 3.5 ” mm headphone jack, single speaker setup, 8-megapixel rear camera sensor with LED flash, and 5-megapixel front-facing camera sensor with f/2.2 aperture .
